Terms of Service
Last updated April 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ZeroRoll mobile application (“ZeroRoll”, the “App”) and the website at zeroroll.com (together, the “Service”). By installing or using ZeroRoll, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
ZeroRoll grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on any iOS or Android device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or sublicense the App except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.
2. Subscriptions and one-time purchases
ZeroRoll offers a free tier and paid tiers (collectively, “Pro”):
- Pro Monthly — recurring monthly subscription, auto-renewing.
- Pro Annual — recurring yearly subscription, auto-renewing, with an initial free trial.
- Lifetime — one-time purchase that grants Pro features for the lifetime of the App.
Subscriptions and purchases are billed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective terms. All subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via your App Store or Play Store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Prices are shown in the App and on the website. Local prices and currencies are set by Apple or Google for your region.
3. Free trials
If you start a free trial of Pro, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. To avoid being charged, cancel through your App Store or Play Store before the trial expires. Once converted, the subscription auto-renews at the listed rate until cancelled.
4. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are governed by Apple’s refund policy (reportaproblem.apple.com). Refunds for Google Play purchases are governed by Google’s refund policy. ZeroRoll does not process refunds directly; please contact Apple or Google for billing issues.
If you believe you’ve been incorrectly charged, please email support@zeroroll.com and we’ll do our best to help, including coordinating with the store where appropriate.
5. Your responsibilities
ZeroRoll is a tool that helps you organize photos. You are responsible for the photos you keep and the photos you delete:
- Verify before you confirm. ZeroRoll provides a 30-day undo window and batch confirmation, but you are ultimately responsible for what you delete.
- Back up your library. We strongly recommend keeping a backup of your photos (iCloud, Google Photos, NAS, external drive) independent of ZeroRoll.
- Storage permissions. ZeroRoll only operates on photos that you grant the App access to via the OS permission system.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. ZeroRoll makes a best effort to organize your photos correctly and to prevent accidental data loss (via the 30-day undo window and batched confirmation), but does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific photo will be correctly classified.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroRoll disclaims all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ZeroRoll, its operator, contributors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any case, the total liability of ZeroRoll for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data ZeroRoll touches (almost none) and what data it transmits (also, almost none).
9. Changes to the App and to these Terms
We may update the App from time to time. We may also revise these Terms; if we do, we’ll bump the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, surface a notice in the App or on the website. Continuing to use the Service after a revision means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in [Jurisdiction], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
